Title: do i need seat belts? Post by: steveo on April 11, 2006, 07:47:38 AM Hello all, i am a owner of an fc holden that i have built i have got it to the stage where i am going to get a road worthy but i have been told different stories by people that i have to put seat belts in. i have searched the net for this topic and i can not find any info. can someone help with a web site or anything that will help. ;D

This is providing there are no belts fitted, if they are fitted I think you have to retain & maintain them, although it is easy enough to weld or plug up the holes if you don't want them. I have registered 2 FE's, without belts, the last being around 4 years ago & no probs. If you are in VIC then I think it is mandatory to fit belts regardless. In SA you can pretty much do as you please as FCs didn't come out with belts fitted. Title: Re: do i need seat belts?
