Title: Drag Link Rubber Boots

Can anyone tell me if the tie rod ends where they connect to the drag link have rubber boots on them,If they do are they the same as the wheel end of the tie rod.Where can I get them from? :)

Hey Graham,

Rare Spares would be your best bet for this stuff.  I thought I had there web address here, but can't find it.  I'm sure if you look around these pages, the address will be listed somewhere.

Graeme, there is no rubber boot from factory, just a metal shield with a spring holding pressure to keep the dust out.  There is a rare Nasco accessory rubber boot kit for the drag link and pitman arm though.  Rare Spares in QLD had a numbe rof sets of these a year ago - don't know if they have any left now though.

Is it normal for the grease to oose out from around that spring?
