Post by: FE_UTE on February 21, 2006, 07:39:19 AM
Heres a pic from the cover of the RAC Driving Guide 1958
A nice wagon with Tilly flash, a pretty new FC Ute coming towards it and an FE sedan 4 cars in front

This is called "Victoria twinline"  the same as on my sedan.  This pic is the only one I have ever seen on a wagon.

I was going to say the same thing about not having seen it on a wagon.  200 holes and then no secondary colour painted into it.  Why would you bother?  The trim around the tailgate would have been interesting (if it had any).  Pity the back of the car isn't visible in the pic.

Great photo Gary, thanks for sharing it.

cheers

It looks like that those photos were taken in Vic if my reading of the plates is right. Where i am not sure but maybe Stkilda or dandenong road. Anyway a great photo all the same!
