Title: FJ Holden movie now on DVD
Post by: customFC on November 22, 2005, 11:29:01 AM
The FJ Holden movie has just been released on DVD, so head to your local movie store and order a copy.
Released by Shock, Cat# david0357, APN 3000000060339.
RRP is $29.95.
You can also find it in Internet movie stores or on ebay.
I suggest you shop around and don't forget to factor in the postage.
Here is the best deal I could find.

I have never dealt with this company, so in no way do I endorse dealing with them. $25.95 incl postage sounds good though.

Hey Leon.
Does this movie have a Police FC sedan shot in black and white anywhere in it? Paul Grech's FC was used in a movie with Ben Mendelsohn, and they placed a police sign on the roof. paul's car was red and grey at the time, but colour did not matter because of the B&W. It was shot for SBS I believe. I notice in Ben M's bio he is in a movie called Black and White. I wonder if this is the movie.
Here is the plot: Recreation of the landmark 1958 South Australian Court trial in which young aboriginal Max Stuart was sentenced to hang, having been found guilty of the murder of a nine year old white girl.
Anyone seen it?
Regards
Alex

Just discovered this movie was shot in 2002, so not the movie with Paul's car.

No Alex, I will try and post some pics out of the movies, the chopped yellow FE appeared once in the "OZ FILES" in cruizin magazine.

yes, see this http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;action=display;num=1132740702 this is return home, its about a couple of brothers who re unite, they were well known in there younger years for there car, it was the fastest car in the town, 12.25 on the quarter (probably fast for a street car in the 70's)
the car they had was a chopped FE witch you can see in the pics (the family photo)
