Title: keeping timing

gday guys...i seem to need to adjust the dizzy to time it every 3 months or so...is this right?..its an easy job but i dont know if i have a problem..i have tightened the dizzy as hard as i can

Is the bolt bottoming out so you get little clamping force?
Try it by removing the dizzy clamp and tightening the bolt in the hole by itself. If the bolt head doesn't go all the way to the block, I'd knock 5mm off the end and try again.
