If you are talking about the picture of the convertible wreck in the paddock, I think you will find it is a photoshop convertible. It isn't a real car. On the other hand, there is a blue convertible with white stripe (FE) belonging to a NSW or Vic club member which is very much roadworthy. I couldn't find the exact post that you were talking about from 'son of a restorer'. THE REASON I ASKED THE QUESTION IS THAT THE PHOTO DOES LOOK SUSPECT EXCEPT THAT MY UNCLE CONVERTED THAT CAR BACK IN '65.HE DOES NOT HAVE A COMPUTER BUT WAS SHOWN PHOTOS OF THIS BLUE WRECK IN THAT PADDOCK BY A FRIEND WHO WAS LOOKING ON THE NET FOR HIM. I THEN WENT ON THE SEARCH AND ALSO FOUND THIS PHOTO.I HAVE SEEN THIS CAR ORIGINALLY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND MY UNCLE STILL HAS PHOTOS AT HOME. THE FRONT WINDSCREEN WAS FROM A VAUXHALL WHICH HE MADE SUIT AND USED TWO NEW REAR DOOR SKINS TO SEAL BACK SECTION AND MAKE 2 DOOR.
