Title: Mt Gambier Show and Shine
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on October 05, 2005, 01:53:28 AM
On the weekend just passed the SA Club had a run down to Mt Gambier for the Show and Shine. Most (all?) of us got there on the Friday night, my crew with only 1/2 hour to spare!

Saturday was a "do-as-you-please" day with a BBQ at Steven J's place that night.

Sunday morning was show visiting time then a cruise to nearby Nelson for lunch. Dinner at the Jens Hotel saw a couple more local members in attendance.

Most were away early Monday morn, my crew were a little off the mark (10am) and finally rolled into Lewiston at 8:30pm. We did have a lunch stop/cave visit at Naracoorte then the FC wagon ran out of fuel just a few ks out of Keith (gauge said 1/2 I swear!).

Here are a few pics .

Hey Glenn.
Nice pics, thanks for sharing them.
Looks like a good time was had by all.
Only 2 1/2 years away and there should be around 100 FE/FC's in that same location.
I love Iain's Green sedan.
Regards
Alex

The photos don't really do Iain's car justice, the colour is much nicer in real life.
