Title: volvo rear in fc
Post by: mike06 on September 29, 2005, 11:11:37 AM
Just wondering if anyone has any information on what type of volvo u use the rear end out of to fit to a holden. Iv been thinking about going this way as iv heard it is a cheap and easy option and has almost as much strength as a nine inch.

i had one and it came fron a 244 model of around early eighties but as it had a 4.11 ratio i sold it off last year ,will need to be from an auto car as they would have more streetable diff ratio.oh by the way, they have very simple design disc brakes and callipers that use same pads as HR Holdens.

Mike, there has been a few threads on this topic, if you use the search function you should be able to find them easily. Make sure you change the days from 7 to 700 (2 years) to get them all.
