This pic was taken in 1959 when he picked up his new caravan It came with special stripes and the special script badge and shield on the rear quarter behind the wheel arch which is painted the same colour as the spats It was loaded up with goodies...sunvisor,venetions radio, spats, number plate eyebrow, bonnet emblem, white walls and tonneau cover. Met him in Bendigo a couple of years ago He still lives in Adelaide and I will be dropping in to say g'day on the way to Phillip Island ....might even get a few more pics of the ute from his archives... |
