Quote looking to get some bargains. You're about 20 years too late ;-) You will find most wreckers around Sydney wouldn't have anything useful prior to about 1985, and if they did eBay has pushed the prices up on everything so you'll be lucky to find any bargains. Slim will have most of what you need for your Holden, he's reasonable on his prices and stocks a good range of stuff - as for the Volvo, duck up the local bowls club. There's heaps of them there, and they also sell BEER!! Perfect. Flynn's at Cooma still have plenty of early Holdens, but have been well seagulled. Seems a visit to Tasmania is in order - HEY ROB :-) Or here's an idea, cruise out to the NSW Club meeting tonight and when the President Graham Fuller says 'Parts Wanted', stand up and ask for what you need. You may be suprised what the club guys have, so suprised in fact you might even join!!! Or because your up at Morpeth, post what you want here and guys from all round Australia will assist, and you can spend the weekend fixing your car and drinking beer with your mates. SOLVED ;D Cheers, Craig. Title: Re: Wreckers Post by: COL58FE on September 14, 2005, 08:10:51 AM WOW Bob,

im looking forward to getting into the club scene soon, still in school at the moment but and im probably spending just a little too much time on the car and cruising this forum at the moment compared to my studies, whoops. after a bit of research i found 'pick n payless' in blacktown, taterstall street. has anyone had any experience at this place? just might be the place for me. cheers Title: Re: Wreckers Post by: bob_hawke on September 14, 2005, 08:58:56 AM hey col thats funny,
moved into morpeth about two years ago, number 7 high street at my oldies house. im at boarding school at the moment finishing year twelve so im ony at home once a month or two for now. yeah i know raworth, maybe seen one of yours parked on the street on the way to east maitland, cant be certain but will keep an eye out next time though. if you ever see a cream EH scooting around with a young bloke at the wheel its probably me, pretty tight-knit sort of area there, bit of a chance of running into each other. for the newcastle area i know a place called 'city spares' that apparently stock a lot of old holdens, gonna check it out when im home next. cheers Title: Re: Wreckers Post by: COL58FE on September 14, 2005, 09:09:28 AM Bob,
