Can anyone give me some advice, my FE standard has a loud creeks & groans in the rear axle area when the vehicle accelerates. Is this likely to be something to do with the axle mounting or springs or shocks? Any & all help appreciated. This will most likely be the spring retainer pads - the rubber mounts that hold the rear axle to the leaf springs. You can buy them from rare spares. If its not that it will be the shackle rubbers, the rubbers that insulate the front and rear mounting points of the leaf springs. Rares have these as well. Cheers, Craig.
