Title: Is my old FC wagon still around?
Post by: FB_MAD on July 07, 2005, 08:15:15 AM
Hi Everyone.I just joined the FB/EK forum and found this one from there. This is an EXCELLENT forum!!!.
Anyway to the subject.I was wondering whether anyone out there has or knows where my old FC wagon might be (if it still exists).I bought it around 1980 with 37 000 miles on it and sold it around 1985 to a fellow in Dubbo N.S.W by the name of Wayne Naden. It was a Special and was white with the maroon flash (sorry I don't know the official colour name) and its rego was "BSN-234"  N.S.W rego.  Rego was expired when it was sold but the plates were still attached.
It was my first registered car and for sentimental reasons I'd like to hope it is still around and someone is looking after it. I have one photo of it and can give its current owner a bit of its history if they'd like.Sorry but I have no other ID details other than its orig colour and rego number. Hope to hear from someone with a "I know where it is" reply.Regards Terry. P.S It was sold with a red 161 in it. Being 15 yrs old when I bought it I stupidly ripped the orig old grey out (nothing was wrong with it) and fitted the 161 and left the grey to rust in the chook pen......If only I could erase time!

Hey fb mad.
Welcome to the forum.
Can't say I have seen your old car around. Hope you find it for sentimental reasons. Sounds the same as the 1 my dad had when I was a kid.
Regards
Alex

I'm in NZ and had an FE wagon I brought in Sydney in 1968' with NSW plates. Is it possible to check out if she is still around ? Her Rego number was BLU369

Both plates are available, which indicates that neither car is registered with their original plates.
