What model I couldn't tell you, but I'd reckon there's every chance RUJ stands for Rear Universal Joint ::)

cheers

RET,
I have always thought R stood for Repco actually mate.
RUJ is a brand.  RUJ1762, RUJ1786 are both Holden universals, but without going out into the cold to check in the shed, I can't tell you which is which.

I'll check tomorrow if nobody else has got back to you Slim. ;D

It got the better of me Slim ??? and I found an old Repco catalogue (1970).

RUJ1762 fits front FX-HD and appears to be interchangeable with RUJ1773.

RUJ1773 is listed as fitting front of HR also, but they don't say about fitting RUJ1762 to front of HR.

Hope this helps, and hasn't added more confusion ;D
