It pays to ask questions before bidding on eBay. Thanks for the offers of help so far, but now the plot thickens. I bought a cheap industrial sewing machine for motor and general trimming work as I am starting a course soon. I thought no probs, whack it on Bus Freight, but the table it was on in the ebay ad was intergral to the set-up and now I am having problems getting anyone to send it to Adelaide at a reasonable rate. Backloading at $349 is a bit too steep, considering I got a go-kart freighted across from Vic for $75 and that was bigger. Can anyone help me? Please? I need to find a sympathetic transport company (yeah right!) or someone who can get it on a ute/trailer and deliver it to a transport company for me, for a reasonalbe fee of course.
