Title: Generator Brushes Post by: john116 on May 30, 2005, 05:12:50 AM Looking for generator springs and brushes for a Bosch generator on a grey motor.
Either second hand, or somewhere to purchase new would be helpful. Thanks, John Title: Re: Generator Brushes Post by: Al on May 30, 2005, 07:08:35 AM John,
Have you tried your local Auto Elect. If he can't help he might know someone else that can help you Cheers Al Title: Re: Generator Brushes Post by: HYSTERIA on May 31, 2005, 09:25:13 PM John,
I just had my generator rebuilt by my local auto electrician, he didn't mention that the parts were hard to find, mind you it cost almost $300. I'd say this would be your best starting point. Jason Title: Re: Generator Brushes Post by: craiga on May 31, 2005, 10:09:43 PM John,
The brushes are generally unavailable and auto electricians get something close and file them down to suit the requirement. As Al says, go to your local auto elec with what's left of the old ones and you'll be OK. Cheers, Craig. Title: Re: Generator Brushes Post by: graham_fuller on May 31, 2005, 10:53:45 PM Hi John,
