Title: Headlining problem
Post by: knickers on May 21, 2005, 10:46:43 AM
We have just got the new headlining for my sons FC ute & recovered some bows from a sedan headlining & noticed after we pulled them out some were a different width, different shape & some had been colour coded - i.e. blue, yellow or green which obviously means something - does anyone know what.
Also should the bows sit hard against the roof or just sit a little off the roof - we may end up resorting to trial & error to get them to fit correctly

Cheers Nickers & Tom

Hi Nickers & Tom,
The bow colours from front to rear should be
1. Green
2. Blue
3. Plain
4. Yellow
5. Red
6. Brown
Hope this Helps ;)

Ace does that colour sequence also apply to the ute - bearing in mind the ute only has 3 bows

Yes it does, the ute has the same front half of the roof as a sedan.
Also the roof bows should sit hard against the roof.
You actually have to slide them into place along the roof.
