Couple questions for anyone out there with a chev small block v8 installed in their fe/fc using the CRS kit & unaltered firewall. 1, can you remove the dizzy with the motor in or does it foul on the wiper motor/firewall 2, If it can be removed would a HEI dizzy(with the coil in the cap) fit without fouling. The reason i am asking i have a stock points dizzy in a the moment but a mate has a spare HEI electronic dizzy he is willing to part with but my wagon is in the motor trimmers so I can't check if it will fit or not as yet. I thought I would let you know that a HEI dizzy does fit but I needed to remove the wiper motor to get it in. But once the dizzy is in you can get the cap on & off without it hitting the wiper motor. Cheers Glenn |
