Title: Yella terra or super flow head for 186 Post by: FC229 on April 22, 2005, 09:50:53 AM I would like to get a decent performance head back on my 186. The last one was a bit too far gone, so I put a standard head on it. It's never been the same.

Title: Re: Yella terra or super flow head for 186 Post by: NO NAME on April 23, 2005, 07:50:30 AM I am thinking of selling my head if I decide to never turn back from the supercharger.
it has been on the motor for about 6 years so it probably would be best to rebuild it. I dont know much about it, the place were it took it for further modification 7 years ago said there wasn't much more that could be done to it. I think it is a 179 hc, it has big plugs and adjustable rockers. Title: Re: Yella terra or super flow head for 186 Post by: peterwmh on April 23, 2005, 09:51:25 PM I have a high compression 149/161 head which gives a bit more HP over the standard head. They run well fitted to a 186, I had one on a HR I sold just recently. If you're interested just drop me a PM or email hz308prem AT bigpond dot com (with the usual changes to avoid spam!), I'm in Victoria.
Cheers Peter Title: Re: Yella terra or super flow head for 186 Post by: FC229 on April 29, 2005, 09:30:46 AM Thanks for the replies. FCCOOL if you decide to sell let me know. Not really interested in 149 head thanks
