Title: Grey Motor Camshaft Post by: TorqueFC on April 03, 2005, 06:19:36 AM we are re building a grey moptor for the ek and are about to get the head worked, but we also want a really largo mild cam in it, does anyone know where to buy one already to go in or if it has to be grinded or any other details needed ???

its just i remember when we tried taking a cam out of a seized motor, it was moving and everything but there was a retaining plate stopping it coming out (at least thats what i remember) cheers torque Title: Re: Grey Motor Camshaft Post by: colt on April 04, 2005, 08:23:40 AM There are 2 small bolts or screws holding the retaining plate to the block. Accessable through the holes in the timing gear.

I have seen a custom 4bbl Holley manifold made for a Red6 in an LH Torrie, it had real long runners compared to the usual cast items.
