Title: unusual stainless trim? Post by: fc_ute on March 26, 2002, 01:59:27 PM i have some pieces of stainless trim which i bought off of a bloke 20 years ago and he swore that he actually removed it from a fc sedan at the mt magnet tip.he was in the same early holden club as me so i assumed he new what a fc was.
it uses the existing fender trim but then the 2 pieces on the doors gradually slopes back to the bottom rear corner of the rear door. very similar to 56? buick. has anybody seen this before? the profile of the trim matches with the existing trim. we are going to use it on my sons custom wagon. Title: Re: unusual stainless trim? Post by: RET on March 27, 2002, 12:49:57 AM It sounds like a "Styletone" kit. Here's a pic from an ad for them:(http://photo.starblvd.net/~customfc/4-1-3.jpg?i=1014529878&pw=*17063C71B%2080D)
There's a separate thread discussing all the various kits going on here: http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;action=display;num=1013610183, that includes a photo of a car with the kit fitted. Hope that helps, RET Title: Re: unusual stainless trim? Post by: fc_ute on March 27, 2002, 01:43:29 PM thats the one.
