Title: FC sedan mild custom
Post by: gree on March 04, 2005, 04:05:56 AM
hi guys. been ages since i have had time to come on the forum, and it is the lack of time, space and other committments that forces me to offer my car for sale  :-[

it is the green FC that a few of you are familiar with. it was getting to where i wanted it, so it is a great basis for your own project with not all that much to make it your own. here is a run down...

GOOD THINGS
• rego  ran out in mid jan - so still time for a new pink slip
• VK commodore fuel injected 202
• thermofans
• alarm system with central locking and engine immobiliser
• HR front end with torana discs
• hadfield chasis kit
• hadfield dropped stub axles (2.5")
• lovells 2" lowered coils
• celica steel cased 5 speed
• HR diff and rear brakes
• smooth push button door hadles installed - legal
• custom grille - very cool if i do say so myself
• 14" HK steel wheels with 'portawalls' whitewalls
• full moon hubcaps
• custom built lakepipes
• full rear fenderskirts - not spats - but full skirts that run right to the rear bumper
• one piece bumpers with concealed mounts
• all rust recently repaired
• boot lock shaved with hidden release
• extra bonnet, door, and chrome trim
• custom pearled steering wheel with centre chrome bullet
• bullet dash knobs
• great heater
• new handbrake cable
• ek speedo - the cool growing bar one!
• mechanically good - i don't think it will need anything for rego. i drove it around without the paint this last year and it passed fine.

and i am sure i am forgetting lots of things...

NOT SO GOOD THINGS
• needs a repaint - is patchy with hi fill from repairs
• needs new front carpet ($120)
• no stereo

PRICE
i am asking $4800 ono

Is the new owner on this board? Just curious if any of the parts from this car will be up for sale.

I just found out who the new owner is.. It's in good hands, and I doubt it will be for sale anytime soon.

Cheers

I don't want the whole thing, just curious whether the new owner would be making any changes and whether there would be any parts for sale

I'm confused  ???
Slim was first in with an enquiry, then Fatboy with the suggestive post?
So is it Slim or Fatboy, or maybe Fatboy Slim?
(couldn't resist  ;D , yeah I know it's pretty lame)
