Title: Youth of today Post by: Kathy on February 17, 2005, 01:17:08 AM Uh Oh! I do question the logic behind whoever let a 19 yr old test drive a HSV in the first place....
This is what's left of a new VY HSV Clubsport at the Watson Holden in Bundoora dealers after a 19 year old test drove it last week. He was driving it back and was going WAY too fast around the corner, up the gutter, travelled the 10 metres to the gates, mounted some cars and landed as you see. And here I was thinking it was "Torana" that meant "To Fly" ;D Lucky you're with AMII, eh?
I wonder was the salesman in the car with him when he took it for a test-drive. I bet he needed a change of strides afterwards. And then there would have been the 'frank discussion' with the sales manager. Perhaps the HSV should have a sign on the front window now like the Astra that says "Holden Certified Abused Vehicle" :P cheers RET Title: Re: Youth of today Post by: gp on February 17, 2005, 02:44:08 AM Do you reckon they'd swap it for a HD 1 owner?

This L plater did this within 50m of borrowing his mates car from a building site (with the assistance of a concrete kerb) (http://home.netspeed.com.au/seasider/_images/holdern.jpg) Title: Re: Youth of today Post by: Paul-FcWag on February 23, 2005, 08:59:16 PM Guys being only 22 myself i think we need to give credit to this 19yr old in the HSV. he was probly just trying to park it where it was before he took it for a test drive. is it his fault that they put all those other cars in his way while he was gone. I think he has done a bloody stirling job to get it in that far. Well done young man! You keep trying to buy that HSV you want and while your at it stay the f*%k away from our FC's ;D ;D ;D
Title: Re: Youth of today Post by: NO NAME on March 06, 2005, 08:12:24 AM its always good to check all the safety features work before you fork out your money.
I can see a few easy sales there, no work but the filling out of insurance forms, many yards now wont let the buyer drive, especailly a p plater, i bet the driver felt like dickhead of the century.
