Title: FC Ute home at last Post by: REDMR2RED on February 11, 2005, 11:09:53 AM Hi all, I finally got my FC Ute home (VIC) at last. Buying sight unseen is always a worry, but when it arrived it exceeded by best expectations. I can find no rust at all, I know, I know, keep looking, and the car was presented as clean as a new pin. My first car was an FC Ute in skyline blue, and as luck would have it this one is the same color, so it brings back great memories. My first task will be to fix the brakes (they're binding) and get it roadworthy and registered as soon as possible. Then work on tidying it up. BTW I've applied for and got my original registration HAV 709 ....... WOW!!!!

Way to go Kevin. ;D That looks as if it is my old ute. If you got it from Chris (Ace)? If so, it is. Nice car & I am glad it has gone to someone who is going to look after it & appreciate it. I miss that car. Did you get anything else with it? Like spares or accessories? Hi Rob, yes that's the one. I had plans to mod the FC slightly, disc brakes, bucket seats, etc, but it is too good, I may finish up restoring it back to original, not that there's much to do that way. Not sure which way to go yet.
