Title: FE FC tail light lense
Post by: peterwmh on February 09, 2005, 11:24:42 PM
Hi all,

I found a tail light in my shed last night while looking for something else.  It has a chromed surround with a clear lense (opaque white anyway) and the red stop/tail light of course.  Is this a FE light as it would not have had a indicator fitted, or did some FCs with indicators use a clear rear lense instead of a amber one?

Thanks

Peter

All Special FE and FC Sedans and Wagons to end-Sept 1959 had a flashing brake-light and clear reversing light (where fitted as an accessory).  FC Specials from 01/10/1959 onwards had amber indicators/reversing lights.  See this page ($2).

cheers
