Title: Lead fuel replacement Post by: Phantom on January 18, 2005, 09:57:06 AM Now that they have stopped making lead replacemant fuel, what are you guys using in your FE/FC's now ? And what is the best fuel/additive to use?
Cheers Rusty Title: Re: Lead fuel replacement Post by: nicko on January 18, 2005, 12:02:00 PM same thing i have used on my other cars for over ten years without problems or additives,premium unleaded,never had valve problems yet,maybe its because they are steel heads not alloy ,told it was a scare tactic used by dealers when unleaded was a new thing,been told that its a real problem by a few but have yet to get my cars taken off road to fix valves so i just keep using premium.
