Title: Penrith NSW Post by: Hewart on December 14, 2004, 02:08:08 PM This is a shot of downtown Penrith in the early 1960s (not sure of the exact date). Seems to be plenty of old Holdens....

An FE wagon comeing down the road, and FC (possibly a Standard wagon) in front of that, and another one pulling in fron of the Morris.... It hasn't changed all that much, except you need to substitute doof-doof mobiles for the Holdens in the picture, and delivery trucks/van for everything else ::)

Its been a few years since I was last back home in Panther country. Its amazing to look at these pics and i think it really has not changed that much over the years. The street and buildings that is. As for the kids and cars well cars are plastic not classic and the kids are not so inicent these days.
