Title: Steering Wheel Horn Button
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on December 13, 2004, 12:30:23 PM
I am after the chrome horn button from one of those "cheaper" chrome steering wheels, the ones that come in metallic blue, red, champagne etc.
They generally have a little horse emblem in the middle.

Thanks Col, but I am really after the one that comes with the wheel pictured.

It's a long story, but here's the short version.
My wife's Sprite had a Bennetton MOMO steering wheel (Red, Blue, Yellow and Green yech!)
The cheapest and easiest way to get a black and chrome wheel for the Sprite was to buy one of these wheels and paint it black (insert Rolling Stones joke here). I couldn't track a suitable boss kit for the wheel, so I got the MOMO boss drilled and tapped for the wheel. The horn button with logo only comes with the boss kit, so I pulled apart the chrome button that came with the wheel and made my wife's own AH Sprite logo to go in it. After a sunny afternoon and three kids playing in the car one of the button parts was missing.

Bugger, Sorry Harko, you and I must've hit the post button at the same time and I missed your reply.
Thanks for the offer, but I have since found a solution.
