Title: Door Pull Handle Post by: sgo on November 27, 2004, 10:10:20 AM In the Cars for sale section the interior shot of the FC Wagon for sale shows a door-pull handle lined up with the rear of the opening handle.
Is this the preferred place to locate the pull handle or is there any "correct" position? Title: Re: Door Pull Handle Post by: graham_fuller on December 01, 2004, 06:11:24 AM I don't believe there is a standard position but this does appear to be a common spot.

The pivot of the door handles is a good reference point for the mounting of each pull handle to each door to ensure consistency. I would think this is where they would be fitted in the original accessory instructions as well. Ken Title: Re: Door Pull Handle Post by: Geoff_K on December 03, 2004, 01:06:12 AM My 217 Door Pulls are in a similiar location.
One photo shows "as from factory" before starting rebuild, other photo was taken recently as it all goes back together. If you look closely the screw holes for the handle can be seen. Cheers, Geoff_K |
