Title: Rebuilding HR Front End (Part 2)
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on October 15, 2004, 11:18:55 PM
Just getting a shopping list together for my next Rare Spares visit and I have a question about bush kits.
The upper and lower arm bushes appear to be fine, when I stripped the front-end they were tight and there was no play in them. The rubbers are cactus though.
So my question, is it absolutely necessary to replace the bushes? or is it OK to re-use them if there is no play?

Stinky....if it aint broke, don't fix it !

Replace them if you want ( if you can ), but if they are fine, then there is no real need to waste money.

Did you find out about the Bonnet Pin / Spring assembly ?

Cheers

Mark

Thanks Mark, I'd rather not spend the money if I don't have to, just wanted to make sure it was safe though.

I have only had a quick look at the spring, been flat out all week and it's been dark by the time I get home. Got a post-it note on the PC so I won't forget, I'll have a look on Sat and let you know.

Thanks Stinky...I've also got a call in to SLIM, so if yours is no good, then hopefully SLim can help out !

Thanks again

The question has to be asked. The bushes are fine so can we get the rubber grease cap/seals only???
