I HAVN'T SEEN YOU FOR SOME TIME BUT I STILL DRIVE PAST YOUR PLACE EVERY DAY ON THE WAY HOME AND GLANCE ACROSS JUST TO SEE WHAT OLD CARS OR PARTS YOU MIGHT HAVE ON YOUR FRONT LAWN. WHILE I TAKE NOTE OF YOUR POSTING OF MOTOR MECHANICS I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION ONE BLOKE WHO I REGARD TO BE A WIZARD WHEN IT COMES TO CARS OF ANY MAKE MODEL OR AGE. HIS NAME IS KEITH RAWSON AND HE RUNS RAWSON MOTORS DOWN AT OFFICER. HE HAS A NUMBER OF RESTORED AND ORIGINAL CARS OF HIS OWN SO HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS REQUIRED. AS TESTAMENT , I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY OWN CARS TO HIM FOR SOME 12 YEARS NOW AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I HAVE ALSO SENT A NUMBER OF FRIENDS TO HIM ALL OF WHOM ARE STILL TAKING THEIR CARS THERE. IF YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE WANTS TO DROP IN HE IS JUST ON THE PRINCES HWY IN OFFICER JUST NEAR THE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS. TELL HIM THAT DENIS TOOGOOD SENT YOU. Title: Re: List GOOD mechanics here... Post by: HRDivivan on February 03, 2002, 03:59:34 AM Yep Dennis, I hear he's a good one. I've never been there so I wont recommend him personally, but my mate goes there and knows him well.
Drop in some time... and don't run off the road because there's a Rover on the front lawn ! Gary Title: Re: List GOOD mechanics here... Post by: FEHOLDEN on February 19, 2002, 10:22:58 AM JUST AS A POST SCRIPT TO MY PREVIOUS LISTING RE KEITH RAWSON, I RECIEVED NEWS THAT HE PASSED AWAY TODAY AFTER SUFFERING A STROKE BUT HIS LAGACY LIVES ON IN IN HIS SONS WHO WORK THERE AND IN THE REMAINING MECHANICS WHOM HE TRAINED. SO INSTEAD OF ASKING FOR KEITH PLEASE ASK FOR MURRAY AND HE WILL LOOK AFTER YOU JUST AS WELL AS KEITH WOULD HAVE. DENIS |
