Title: 3:08 Diff ,Fuel tank ,Subframe ,ute springs
Post by: HARKO on September 16, 2004, 12:44:41 PM
I have for sale a 3:08 ratio diff from an EK ,Diff centre is from a Torana and the diff housing has had the upgrades to accept it - from memory it wasnt noisy but it will need a seal to reseal  the centre ,diff is complete and hasnt been on the road for about 18 months
$120 Ebaying next week.

FC EK Ute fuel tank ,custom drop tank style of tank includes sender unit and rubber attatching filler hose  to link to original filler neck.
$100 Ebaying next week.

EK subframe ,No rust in any rails ,none in the radiator support lower brace and never been repaired
Has had a repair under the battery box and needs repairing on the edge of flat steel that self tapps to the body above the main brace - very simple.
$150 Ebay next week.

EK Ute springs - Ute springs have an extra leaf to handle heavier loads and ride a little stiffer with less body roll.
Lower these ones while you still drive or simply upgrade
$ 120 Yep next week on ebay if not sold.

Please reply here so I can easily see who got in first.

Its on a wreck out in the bush , so the price is right. Am going to grab some bits off a ute on monday , will check the subframe out and let you know if its any good. What other bits are you chasing?None of these wrecks have any decent panels , but quite often they are good for cutting patch panels out of.

if you dont want to sell it to me thats cool, but the tank would go bus freight no worries unlike the hassle bringing the interior up to QLD

Am also interested in the tank if nicko does not take it.  Don't know what the logistics of getting it to Perth would entail.

Let me know if it is available.

Cheers,
Burnsy

The name that is displayed ie "Harko" is not necessarily the same as the username, ie "HARKO".  Mine is like this too - it looks like "RET" at left but my registered username is "ret".  Hover your mouse over the IM icon at the left and you'll see what I mean.

It's always safest to click on the IM icon next to a post of the person you wish to correspond with, rather than just typing their name into the Recipient box of a "New Message" page.  That recipient field has to exactly match the username, or you'll get the error message you described.

cheers
RET (ret)

Thanks RET ,Haha I had a laugh Nicko - you think Im trying to do a shiftie on ya  ::)
Relax dood Im just flat out and I only log in to read the ten most recent posts so I do miss alot, But none the less mate Im NOT trying to rip you off.
I do have some reservations about sending a petrol tank with Aussie post though and I have been flat out like a cheerleader on promb night.

The old man has some stuff coming from Nerang QLD and I was going to see if I could send it up with them if it was close enough to you, Along with the CD.

no worries,i was more worried about why or how i had got on your nerves, any way i can get Followmont Transport  to pick up from Nerang no problem at all if it works out they can fit it in on there way home,
cheers Nicko
