Title: Lowering FC Sedan
Post by: Kermit on September 01, 2004, 08:29:51 AM
I am seriously thinking about lowering my stock FC. When i was a "youngen" we simply put lowering blocks under the back and cut the front springs, the latter i will not do as i would buy proper lowered springs but what about the back should i buy blocks or reset springs + how low do you suggest i go I want to see that its been lowerd but not so low that a set of 6 or 7inch wheels scrape all the time.

Your advise is appreciated

Mick
My FE sedan is lowered two inches (2") I have 215x65x14"  tyres and standard HQ GTS 14x6" rims. No rubbing at all. When I had 14x7" rims (mags) had small rubbing at front on full lock. Hope this is of some help.

Cheers
Sarge

I have 2" lowering blocks on my car and 1 1/2 lowered coils up front. No probs.
There is a set of blocks on ebay at the moment. I think they would suit, he says they were fitted to EJ.
