The engine bay is the worst looking bit of the whole car

Great looking car Martin, I have downloaded the photos for the web-site. If you can send me some info I will get started on a page for your car.

Cheers

Martin,

Very nice looking car.

Graham,

I think I have a NOS coil with that sticker on it. Do you want to borrow it to make a reproduction?

Regards

Edward

Graham,

The coil labels might be a bit hard to photograph as they wrap around, but here's a drawing of them.

Top:

Bottom:

This is an amazing car.  The two spinster sisters who owned it for most of its life kept a diary of every penny/cent they spent (apart from petrol).  I've got that diary, along with every service receipt from 1960 to 1986 and every registration and comprehensive insurance renewal for the same period.

With this evidence, I can be pretty confident the 71,000 miles showing on the clock is genuine.

The paint's not as good as the photos make it look - but it's still pretty good.

Martin  -  Happy Chappy

Martin, Looks like you have scored yourself a great original car there, bonus being spinsters, the back seat must be in top condition too  ;) sorry.
But on a serious note, it's always great to get the history with the car, and it sounds like you have struck a goldmine there!

Always a great plus to have a history with a car as it makes it that little bit more special. Will we be seeing you at Jindabyne?
