Title: FE on the way to the beach Post by: FE_UTE on July 04, 2004, 12:51:00 PM Heres our happy family off to the beach on New Years Day 1958.It was an 80 mile one way trip for a swim
We were stopped under the tree for a break and to feed my little sister (asleep in the pram) off picture The rack on the back of the FE was hinged..When put down the pram was tied on complete. That saved time in dismantling it and also saved a bucket load of room in the boot. I hope your Mum put an extra blanket over your lil' Sis when the pram was placed on the back. Our FE was the same colour as Zulus sedan, two tone green Must have been something to do with the dry bush as the FC and Then the HR were also green.
