FE and FC Standards, Utes and Vans had no blinkers. FCs had blinker bodies, because the parking lights are in them, and they're integral to the grille. FE blinker bodies serve no other purpose because the parking lights are integrated in the head-lights, so FE standards and commercials simply don't have them at all. Because so many of the commercials were subsequently retro-fitted with indicators, those blanking plates on the column aren't that common, although not what you'd call truly 'rare'.
