There is a really good little site which no doubt the 'gurus' of this site had a hand in at http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/ It has a 'fill in the blanks' type page where you can pump all the numbers from your ID plate into and it spits out the facts decoded. Fantastic tool. 5106-M = 5,106th made in Melbourne 166 = External colour combination = "Cuban Beige" 685 = Internal trim colour(s) = "Fall Red" 253 = Paint Type = Enamel 7455 = BALM Paint Number = "Cuban Beige" Based on those numbers, I guess that your ute is an FE? cheers RET |
