Title: torana diff Post by: nicko on June 02, 2004, 08:39:33 AM HI can anyone tell me if an LH Torana diff is longer ,shorter or the same length as an FC diff?

I don't know the exact diff length but I do have the wheel track measurements. FC is 1410mm and LH is 1430mm. I don't know what width wheels/ offsets the LH runs but you would think the diff lengths would be fairly close. Hope this helps a little but I'm sure everyone else will add some more exact info. miikael Title: Re: torana diff Post by: mcl1959 on June 04, 2004, 07:48:44 AM I think the LH diff is the same as FC, if you want a narrower diff then the LC or LJ diff is the one to get as this is about 2 inches shorter

Title: Re: torana diff Post by: Burnsy on June 11, 2004, 07:50:34 AM I have just found a LH diff for my car (EK) can anyone tell me what is involved in putting it in, is it a simple bolt up using the torana plates and u bolts or do I need to weld mounts on or something?
Cheers, Mike Title: Re: torana diff Post by: ACE on June 11, 2004, 08:36:34 AM Hi Burnsy,
You'll have to cut off all the Torana coil spring mounts and weld mounting plates on to accept the EK leaf springs. ;) Hope this Helps, Regards ACE 8) Title: Re: torana diff Post by: Burnsy on June 11, 2004, 10:31:45 AM Can anyone give me any advice on setting up the handbrake using the Torana diff and drums.
