The part you refer to is the bakelite mounted Brass disc. This part screws to the front of the Black cover where the nut inserts are. Cheers, Graham Title: Re: horn stuff Post by: Phantom on May 25, 2004, 01:18:04 AM Cheers Graham, thanks fgor your help

What gearbox are you using to keep the benchseat without any mods ??? cheers RUBBLE Title: Re: horn stuff Post by: Phantom on May 27, 2004, 07:14:52 AM Rubble ,it is a speco three speed
Cheers Rusty Title: Re: horn stuff Post by: Effie C on May 27, 2004, 09:58:39 AM Rubble and Rusty
A speco three speed is the shifter, attached to either the original three speed gear box or if tunnel is modified a later model three speed box. Speco is a brand of shifter not a brand of gearbox. Rusty Title: Re: horn stuff Post by: Effie C on May 28, 2004, 09:25:49 AM No worries Rusty,
I'm no mechanic either, just a refrigerated sparky. There was another brand of shifter available in the dim past called an impalla, this was a sraight line shifter not a H pattern unit like yours,I also seen a single piece of metal rod used to change gears a s well, not fancy but it worked.
