Hi fatboy.

No VT calipers will not suit VL discs.

I assume you mean normal VL 6 Cyl discs. The larger V8 & Turbo discs are closer but not close enough.

The VT caliper will bolt onto the strut OK, but to overcome your problem I can supply a hub with bearings that goes in place of your current disc (over the stub axle) & accepts a VT disc & everything works.

Is this what you are trying to acheive.

Regards.

Dr Terry.

This is one of my standard kits.  The kit comes with  hubs including new, bearings, seals, grease caps and studs as well as hoses to adapt the VL fittings to VT calipers.
The VL has a reverse flare on the pipes whereas VT has a ball flare. They are not compatible.
These kits are very popular since VT rotors and calipers are so cheaply obtained.
Best results are obtained by upgrading to a slotted rotor and dispensing with the OEM pad and fitting a better quality item.  Don't be tempted to buy cheap pads since the demise of asbestos pads, there are a lot of very poor pads on the market which give very poor brake performance.
