Title: proportionong valve Post by: Phantom on May 11, 2004, 07:29:08 PM G'day all,
Does anyone out there know if a HQ proportioning valve will work with my HR disc front end and a FC drum rear end , will it help the dreaded rear end lock up? Cheers Rusty Title: Re: proportionong valve Post by: Digger on May 11, 2004, 11:17:34 PM Hi there Rusty,
The HQ proportioning valve (Limiting Valve ) will work fine. You can also change the rear wheel cylinder size to a larger bore and will have the same efect. PBR have a 9/16ths wheel cylinder that will bolt in and you wont need the proportioning valve. One thing Rusty have you a HR rear drum set up for disk or the standard HR set up and are you boosting the hole brake set up or just the front disks. Steve.
