Title: Downtown Whyalla
Post by: Hewart on May 09, 2004, 11:45:11 AM
G'day all..
Found this pic the other day of Whyalla in South Australia. Not sure of the date though... there is an FB in the pic, so possibly early 1960s. There also seems to be a nice looking Standard wagon centre shot. I can't tell if it's an FE or FC though... that's something I'll leave to the experts... but this is the first "old" pic I've found with a standard wagon in it.....

and a closer look at the wagon....

Cheers....

Nice pic Les.
The wagon would be an FC, it has the little spear on the front guard. The FE would have a Holden script.
Regards
Alex

Have a look at the FE sedan behind the wagon. It has one of those plastic sunvisors on it that was a hot topic a few weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!
The FE wagon behind that has the Nasco sunvisor

Great photo by the way!!!!!

Nice pick up on the visor Ken,

I guess that answers my question of a few weeks ago about those visors being used on FC 's.
