Would I be fair in assuming that the grill surround and separators are not going to line up perfectly? Either that or my chrome plater stuffed up or it requires a bit of force to get things in position. Title: Re: Hmmmmmmm?????? But rechromed original pieces should line up as well as before.
To get a top finish you may have to carefully trim some bars here and there to make it fit better. On the NOS grille in my green FC, I had to trim every bar and the park lights to make the grille fit perfectly. Hope this helps Ken Title: Re: Hmmmmmmm?????? I can't vouch for the origin of the grille, it came with car loosely bolted in, plus I didn't take note when pulling it apart. |
