I just love these old family old archive picks they give a great personal touch to our online activities. A great shot and love the curtains, was the car in the family long?

Did ya Mum make the curtains or are they a Nasco accessory?

Emu - appreciator of fine curtains.

Brett the car was traded in 1967on a new HR .It had a short motor fitted in 1964 after 160000 miles. The motor was knackered. Thye curtains were were an after masrket fitout (mum) as we siblings were put to bed on many occasions in the back.It was common practise for kids to be sleeping in cars at bush functions ...including such events as night badmington...movies with a higher rating than "G" ...country dancesand rellie bashes that were just too much for a young fella to take. Also for the long trips home on corrigated gravel roads that rock one off to sleep....

emu you can see a colour pic of these curtains

Amazing thing Rusty is that we all survived no seatbelts air bags etc.
Must have been the lack of rice powered cars and slower (yea right) speeds. Like unlimited speed limit in NSW.
