Title: HR Diff Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on April 01, 2004, 10:42:56 AM Looks like I need a HR Diff, preferably in SA. Diff centre not important. PM, Email or call 0408 891 843
Cheers Glenn Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: peterwmh on April 06, 2004, 10:42:15 PM Hi Glenn,
Transporting a whole diff housing from Albury/Wodonga isn't feasible, however I do have at least one possibly two very good spring/shock absorber hangers/brackets from the HR diff. These tend to corrode where the shock rubber mounts over the pin, mine have no corrosion which is quite uncommon nowadays. They have been in storage for 18 years!! If you're interested please email peteramanda@iprimus.com.au or leave a reply here. Cheers Peter Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Effie C on April 07, 2004, 12:18:01 AM Peter
If Glenn does not want them I will take them(As long as you don't want too much for them). Just let me know how much etc. John M Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: peterwmh on April 07, 2004, 12:21:03 AM Hi John,
I sold one before for $20, how does that sound? As I said I know I have one, I may have two! How about $30 for the two if I have them?? Cheers Peter Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Effie C on April 07, 2004, 01:42:39 AM Peter
Sounds fine as long as Glenn does not want them. John M Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on April 07, 2004, 03:45:37 AM I have been trying since monday to get to the wreckers that have a few HRs, no luck so far because of work. As soon as I have I will give you a hoi. If that's OK, otherwise I guess John M gets 'em ;D
I take it the brackets are different between the FE and HR and that is the reason I need the HR brackets? Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: peterwmh on April 07, 2004, 03:45:46 AM Ok John thanks, Glenn please let me know if you want them in the next couple of days, otherwise John they're all yours!!
Cheers Peter Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: peterwmh on April 07, 2004, 03:48:01 AM Glenn,
Sorry didn't see your reply there, yes HR and FE are very different as the very mounting of the diff to the spring was revised on the HD, U bolts are no longer used. So how long do you need to source a diff housing?? Ta Peter Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Effie C on April 07, 2004, 06:43:52 AM All fine by me,I am in no rush.Peter just send me an email with details to transfer dollars to if necessary.By the way do you have any HR upper and lower control arms in good nick?
John M Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on April 08, 2004, 05:30:07 AM Going to the wreckers tomorrow morning, 8th April, so I will post or PM tomorrow night if that is OK?

I think I have a left hand upper and lower control arm in good nick from a drum brake front end HR. Glenn, yep let me know how you go! Cheers Peter Title: Re: HR Diff Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on April 08, 2004, 11:35:18 PM I'll grab the pair if you've got them, the ones at the wreckers were still on the car, but they looked old and abused. Send me an email gjs @ ihug.com.au (remove spaces) to let me know how you want me to pay etc.
