1. Where can I get a new handbrake cable. 2. I had a speedo cable to suit my PowerGlide/FE combo made by a company in Arncliffe (can find the details if you need them), delivered the next day. There's also a crowd called Auto-Cables that advertise in Restored Car that might be worth a try.

Try this fella out, I have had him make up a speedo and hand brake cable for me and have been of good quality also got a rear after market venetian shade off him, he hand makes the cables at home and delivery is quick. http://www.autocables.com.au/ Also I dont think the LJ rear brake cylinder will fit the FE FC, different mounting holes.
