Title: Sill Replacement Post by: utey on March 16, 2004, 01:08:53 AM Just started to remove the sill on Station Sedan, drilled out the lower spot welds and just going to start on the upper welds. there are hundreds of them, is there an easier way to do this or do I have to drill out every spot weld?

Would it be ok to leave to top horizontal section of the sill in place , put a flange in it and weld to that then cut the sill to fit and butt weld round the "A" and "B" pillars? That way I could leave the doors on, would'nt have to un pick the welds and most of the new welds would be hidden under the scuff plates Any thoughts?
