Title: FE Holden at Baskerville 1973
Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on March 13, 2004, 10:42:11 AM
Hey guys,

Found this image in today's Mercury.

The image is used to promote Baskerville Raceway's anniversary.

The text accompanying the image states that the FJ is still cutting the same lap times it did in 73.

Pretty hairy stuff if you ask me. Still, the V8 supercars had to evolve from somewhere, I guess...

cheers,

Josh

Sorry about the position... will try to correct it later. In the mean time, crank those necks!

Papers were just as inaccurate back then as now it seems!!  It's a 48-215 getting out of shape not an FJ!!  Love the racing strips too!!   ;D
