The inspiration for my car probably came about from my interest in US custom cars of the 50's, through US magazines. I then learnt more about the Aussie custom history and became interested in what was done through early Aussie Hot Rod mags etc. When tidying up my FC for the 3rd Nats, I had the opportunity to score some original custom bits, and thought why not! Hence my car appeared as a custom at the Nats in 1991. Wow, that's 13 years on the road in that form. Regards Alex |
