Title: Two Pack Prep - Question for Streetneat
Post by: Emu on February 18, 2004, 06:30:20 AM
Here it is Streets,

I just read Streetneat's excellent insights into the two pack v Acrylic debate.

I have recently had some discussions re: the preparation required and how the primer is used. Can you use acrylic primers? What about bogs? Does 2 pack primer have to be applied immediately before the finish.

I know you're a busy man Street, but a summary of the process would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, many others out there may have input to toss in.

Thanks Streets,

Many of my questions were answered as your excellent post on the ute unfolded before my eyes.

I have also surfed your site heavily and have had my few questions answered as well as a hundred others I hadn't even thought to ask!!

Very informative stuff. Thanks for being so free with your wealth of experience.

Lights are off, money on the fridge.........I hope that was your cat I let in. :)

No thats the brothers pussy ... damn thing stinking the place up.... Beware of the possums...they go ya....
P%#ks of things..they make more mess than if you were to run 'em over.....
The EK van stubs were an idea I was experimenting with but turned out to be more of a pain than its worth..... It meant I had to rework them heavily to allow the top to slide on with out binding... next time I would just weld right through like I normally do... cheers streetneat... 8)
