Hi Slim.
IMHO, It isn't FE FC, or even Holden for that matter. Note down the bottom of the aerial, there is a black sleeve that actually goes around the aerial & down into the base. The holden ones have a different base, heavier. Also, the Holden ones have a rubber sleeve that slides down over the aerial, not one that is actually conected to the part.
Have a close look at the one I sold to Robert M. That is a genuine Nasco one. The one in that auction is maybe an aftermarket one, or off a Ford, Chrysler or Similar. Ask Ken, I am sure he will agree the base is different.

Thanks 4 Hammers  !! The guy selling it assures me it is fe/fc era, but it is 3 stage type , I think by memory fe/fc ones are 5 stage if im not mistaken... Its 146cm from tip to base .  Does this part number appear in anybodys part catalogues of any particular vehicle . Example  Chrysler , Fo%#, Sigma , etc etc.

Hi Slim I looked through the 48-215 to EJ, LC & LJ, HK parts catalouges and couldnt find the number, I agree with 4Hammers the FE-FC one has a much larger base, here is a pic of mine on my unrestored FE,

regards mike.

Hi Guys.
Yep, I looked through all my parts catalogues. I have every catalogue from 48-215, right up to HZ (except the FE one), & couldn't find a thing. In fact, I reckon that P/N is bogus. The "M" series are usually accessories, but the al start with 3. ie. M313000. There wasn't any listed as M2------. I also looked through my Falcon catalogues, that cover XK to XP. That number doesn't appear, but I reckon that is what it is off. A Ford.
Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
Mike, that is exactly what I meant. See the little rubber sleeve? They one on ebay doesn't have that.
